Our Story

In September 2023, I was living what I thought was the dream—interning as a designer at one of the world’s leading sports brands. But it didn’t take long to realize the corporate world wasn’t for me. I faced a choice: continue down a safe, predictable path or take a leap and create something of my own.

While training for a marathon that same year, I searched for a race-day outfit that made me feel as strong on the outside as I wanted to feel on the inside—something bold and empowering. That search sparked the idea for what would become Flight Risk.

As I began building the brand, life tested me in unexpected ways. I was navigating infertility struggles while also battling the self-doubt and imposter syndrome that come with starting something new. Both journeys—the one toward motherhood and the one toward entrepreneurship—taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of starting over.

The past two years have been anything but a straight path. But through every challenge, I gained clarity on what I wanted Flight Risk to stand for: a brand that empowers people to take control of their story, live unbound by circumstance, and chase risk instead of comfort.

I still don’t have it all figured out—and maybe that’s the point. What I do know is that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be: building something that represents strength, freedom, and the courage to choose your own path.
